From values to actions
From values to actions
The last - but hopefully not final - phase of our project investigates the actual places, methods and practices of solidarity engagement, seen through the lens of the growth and development of civic society. The ideals and principles that drive our experience are not abstract notions, disconnected from everyday life, but represent the grounds for action and are intended as tools to protect and broaden the space for human rights acknowledgement.
A volume will be published in which we will review and promote the good practices of volunteering, in order to disclose and and show the different sides of volunteer work according to its degree of innovation, its ability to involve young people, to interpret society's needs.
It is a crucial step to take stock of the situation of XXI century volunteering, to verify its state of health and eventually to get it ready to face new challenges.
